In the latest Schön! Magazine  –  April edition -  ‘We are the Champions’ is paying homage to this summer’s sporting events, taking place in London city. The series touches on the nostalgia of yesteryear and healthy competition.  I wanted to use the beauty products in a different unconventional way rather than a standard ‘hero’ representation.

Here’s the long-awaited “Walk on the wild side” photoshoot published in the recent issue of the Financial Times’ - ”How to spend it” supplement. I posted some sneak peek pictures from backstage of the shoot in January. Now you can see the whole bunch of noisy and colourful feathery models I had for the day, as well as some beautiful lookalikes.     There were a couple of   ’Dr Doolittle, talking to the animals’ - moments too!

Another feature I have done some time ago for the Inspire Magazine – a magazine published by Iggesund – the manufacturer of high quality virgin fibre paperboard. The magazine is issued 3 times a year and is available in German, English, French and Swedish, and Chinese.

The Front Cover of this month’s  VF On Time supplement was a photography challenge and a real ‘labour of love’.  Perseverance, patience - with lighting, a little fish wire and a positive mantra – thrown in for fine measure – came good in the end!!

Inside, the images are part of a 13 page Watch Report. This was an interesting project where retro objects were deconstructed and presented in contrast alongside classical and elegant timepieces.

I have to say this was made more achievable by the set design/sourcing of props of Brigit Hegarty and art direction Karen Hibbert.

Here are some photographs I’ve done recently for Harrods Sports Supplement March issue. This is a reportage from Harrods sports department, where an escaped action man toy was “spotted” engaging in a secret mission.

Chris has been “going commando” in the studio earlier this month. The guy (pictured) spent quite a few days with us, and we decided he deserved mentioning in the blog. The result will follow in the sports-themed photoshoot for Harrods soon.
